City Continues Beautification of New Public Cemetery

The City Government through the Environment and Natural Resources Management Office planted 40 seedlings of Palawan Cherry at the city’s New Public Cemetery last March 30.
Mayor Rex Jalando-on and Acting City Administrator Marlene Gargantiel were among those who planted these legacy trees intended to beautify and provide shade in the burial grounds.
Fifteen (15) members of the La Carlota City Police Station also participated in the activity.
The Palawan Cherry Tree is a flowering tree expected to bloom in 5-7 years.
