City Tightens COVID Measures

Mayor Rex Jalando-on issued Executive Order No. 45 last September 14, 2021 in response and preparation to the rise in COVID cases in La Carlota City.
Among the salient points of the EO are the following:
1. CURFEW is from 8:00PM to 4:00AM
2. LIQUOR BAN prohibits the selling and buying of liquor or any intoxicating drink.
a. Establishments and businesses – maximum of 30% of seating capacity/carrying capacity of place of business
b. Government Office -skeletal workforce not exceeding 50%
c. Tricycles (excluding driver):
Zone 1 (Putian), maximum of three(3)
Zone 2-12, maximum of four (4)
4. MASS GATHERING prohibits all forms of mass gathering including religious mass, service or rite.
a. Wakes limited to five (5) days. Funeral mass, procession and burial limited to ten (10) persons.
b. Personal mass gatherings (parties, reunion, family gatherings and similar events) are disallowed.
c. Business meetings, conferences, consultations and corporate events are not allowed except those that will be held virtually.
d. Mayor Jacky Jalandoni Blvd.(including the Brgy. 3 People’s Park) is close to the public from 1:00PM to 8:00PM daily.
e. All forms of cockfighting is not allowed, including online sabong.
5. Face-to-Face instruction/class is prohibited.
