Doc Rex inspected the brand new ambulance parked in front of the City Mayor’s Office earlier this afternoon.

The ambulance, a Hyundai Starex, was donated by the Department of Health (DOH) to La Carlota City through the efforts of Congresswoman Juliet Marie Ferrer.

The emergency vehicle will be assigned to the City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO).

Together with Doc Rex were City Budget Officer and Acting City Administrator Marlene Gargantiel, City Health Officer Dra. Erwina Frances Jalandoni, DSBMDH Chief Dr. Miguelito Aquino, CDRRMO Head Ms. Ertha Antonette Capunsan and COVID Focal Person Ryan de los Santos.

The blessing of the unit is tentatively scheduled this Saturday at 2:00 in the afternoon.
