Consultation Meeting with Sen. Zubiri

Senator Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri arrived in La Carlota City at around 12 noon today to attend the Consultation Meeting with LGU Officials and Punong Barangays of the 4th District of Negros Occidental at the DHSBNHS Covered Court. Present to welcome Sen. Migz are Gov. Bong Lacson, VG Jeffrey Ferrer, Cong. Juliet Ferrer, BM Joeben Alonso, Mayor Rex R. Jalando-on, Mayor Joemar Alonso and Vice Mayor Junjun Baga.

Senator Migz is from Bukidnon but originally hailed from Kabankalan City. He speaks fluent Hiligaynon. In the senate, he earned the moniker “Senator from Negros Occidental” because of his ardent and consistent support to the welfare of and constant visit to the province.

Recently, La Carlota City hosted the DOLE-TUPAD pay out to 300 beneficiaries from the city and the town of Cauayan. The pay-out was funded by the Office of Sen. Zubiri. In addition, the senator is also a supporter of the circumferential road project envisioned by Doc Rex.
