Aspirants for the national and local elections in May 2022 may file their Certificate of Candidacy (COC) from at the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Office from October 1-8, 2021, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.

 

COMELEC Resolution No. 10717 requires the physical filing of COC by the aspirant or through an authorized representative with a sworn and signed Authority to File the COC. It has also issued health and safety protocols that must be complied with by the candidates, their party and the media.

As of 9:30 in the morning, only one aspirant has filed his COC at Comelec La Carlota.
