Mayor Rex Jalando-on and Ms. Lili Fuentes, Chief Operating Officer of Habitat for Humanity signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) through a virtual signing program today, August 19.

 

Doc rex was joined by Vice Mayor Junjun Baga, City Planning Head Engr. Jose Ainar Apdol and Habitat’s Executive Assistant for Housing Primilo Solinap.

 

The MOU concerns the Luis Jalandoni Village Socialized Housing Project at the Ayungon Resettlement Site. The village is a 3.44-hectare resettlement located in Barangay Ayungon and intended to be the home of indigent and deserving beneficiaries.

 

The naming of said government-owned land was made through City Ordinance No. 2021-010 (July 6, 2021) authored by SP member Don Jezreel Emboltorio, Chairman of the SP Committee on Zonification and Resettlement.
